The guidelines

The Cash App design site is equal parts guidelines and showcase, setting a new bar for what modern brand systems can be. The site opens with an immersive, custom-built experience by Index Studio, an expressive, infinite canvas that brings the brand’s personality to life. From there, viewers dive into detailed documentation—built on Standards—that covers everything from their custom Cash Sans typeface to motion, illustration, and tone of voice. This multi-layered approach does more than organize brand assets—it pushes the medium forward, setting a new standard for how brands can communicate their identity in the digital age: inspiring, intuitive, and fun to explore.
