App update: MP3 player, Spotify/Soundcloud embeds, Right-to-left text, + more
Today we’re excited to release Standards 11.9.5, with audio features enabling sound in guidelines. Plus various quality of life improvements from your community feedback.
Key features in this update
Spotify, Soundcloud, and audio file support
Embed songs from Spotify and Soundcloud, or add your own audio files directly then style the player to fit your brand.
Quickly add brand elements
Skip the Automation flow and add brand elements like a color swatch or don’t directly where you want using the + menu.
Right-to-left text
Set text direction on projects with languages that are meant to be read right-to-left, such as Arabic, Hebrew, and Persian.
Social sharing previews
Set guidelines preview image, title, and details to show in social media when posting their links.
Menu groups can stay open
There is now the ability to set menu groups to stay open if someone is on a page within that group.
Find styles, components, and files faster
Search has been added to styles and components. Improved search remembers your last search query for quicker media management.

- Analytics reporting function fix
- Safari – Fixed a bug where adding a text link would sometimes cause an error
- Safari – Fixed a bug where in-editor page scrolling would sometimes stop working with the grid overlay enabled
- Fixed various Nav Group bugs related to behavior and hover settings
- Fixed a bug with text elements where the stroke wouldn’t expand to full height if pixel height or aspect ratio was applied
- Fixed a bug with uploaded font files where custom metadata like font family and weight wouldn’t be transferred when duplicating a project
- Fixed a bug in multiplayer editing where teammates would be permanently set to ‘away’ even after closing the tab
- Fixed a bug where tooltips could only be as wide as their parent element
