App update: OpenType and variable fonts are here.

We know some brands rely heavily on advanced typographic details, so we’re happy to announce Standards now supports OpenType features.

Similarly, variable fonts are now supported, opening up a whole new host of design possibilities. Learn about these changes and more below.

No more baked-in positioning. Adjust the position of scaled media inside its bounding box.

Replace any file upload with any other file on your computer, including those with different names than the file you are replacing.

  • Fixed a bug where you could sometimes insert, duplicate, or remove elements inside component instances with key commands
  • Fixed a bug where you sometimes couldn’t ‘drag to add’ elements in component edit view
  • Fixed a bug where uploaded images with capitalized extensions weren’t resized
  • Fixed a bug where image overlay colors wouldn’t work on group or layout background images
